How it started
Shona and Mark started Roomix in 2022 with a simple idea: everything in your home should be built for real life — and made to last. As first-time homeowners, we wanted pieces that looked beautiful and could handle everyday living, without compromising on quality. But too many options felt either disposable, or impractical for the way families actually live.
So we set out to build something different. We began with our much-loved Wall Panelling Kits, expanded into shelving, and as our team (and many of our customers) became parents, our focus naturally grew too — designing for family milestones and the changing needs of home life.
Today, Roomix builds family furniture for real life. We believe that your furniture should make life easier, feel beautiful in your space, and last for years — designed by parents, for parents.

Roomix products are high quality and durable. Not throwaway. We are determined that none of our products should end up in landfill.
If you grow out of your Roomix item then we will collect it from you for free to reuse the parts or donate it to a new home.
