If you no longer need your Roomix furniture, let us know. We’ll collect it from you, completely free of charge. This isn’t just about convenience; it’s about responsibility. Once collected, your furniture embarks on its next chapter:
- Repurposing Materials: We disassemble items and reuse the materials in new products. This circular approach reduces waste, saves resources, and helps us innovate in creating stunning, sustainable designs.
- Furnishing New Futures: Not all collected furniture is deconstructed. If an item is in good condition, we donate it to a new home through our charity partners, Furnishing Futures. This ensures that someone in need benefits from your furniture, giving it a second lease on life.
Who Are Furnishing Futures?
Furnishing Futures is a charitable organisation dedicated to transforming empty houses into welcoming homes for families in need. Many families experience housing insecurity or domestic upheaval, leaving them with a roof over their heads but little else to make the space liveable and lovable. Furnishing Futures steps in to bridge this gap by providing essential furniture and homeware to create safe, comfortable, and functional living environments.
Through our partnership, Roomix helps extend the lifespan of our furniture by donating items that are still in excellent condition. These contributions support Furnishing Futures’ mission to provide dignity and stability for families starting over. Together, we not only reduce waste but also ensure our furniture fosters hope and happiness in new homes.
